About
I’m an avid runner with a strong Christian faith, and I’m married to the most beautiful, wonderful, understanding woman ever whom I adore (yes, she made me say all that). We have three children ages 9, 6, and 3 who are blessings from above and fill our lives joy while also serving as God’s instruments to build my character as they are often testing my patience. Which leads me to my favorite stress relieving activity of running. I’ve been a runner for the last 7 years and I’ve run a couple of marathons. Most people look at me as a pretty serious runner, but running alone does not define me. I’m also a devout Christian who studies the Bible and I’m very active in my church. In addition to my family, my faith and running are my passions. From time to time, I’ve toyed with the thought of somehow combining these passions of mine to help inspire others to both run and grow in their faith. To that end, I’ve decided to start this blog to share my thoughts and experiences with the hope that others might find them interesting and find at least some inspiration.

I’ve just come from a five mile run in which I spent the entire time thinking up ways to bring together running, my church and our local community. I searched online for Christain runners and came across your blog! Wow, great stuff!!!! My husband and I both run, we also have three kids (ages 7,5 and 3), we work full-time and are active in our church. I find that there are so many parallels to running and being a Christian. I really enjoyed reading your blog. I found it interesting and inspirational THANK YOU :0)
Hello, so great that you started a blog about this. I was curious if you knew of any organized runs where the proceeds go towards missions.
I am right there with you. In fact, following my first marathon this past January I did the same and have been really blessed combining the two into encouragement, accountability and training. If you are interested, my blog is at http://www.runningwithhorses.com
Thanks for your posts. Good stuff!
